back in Singapore!(: really tired and slept like 16-17 hours last night.(: shiok shiok! ;D youth camp was last week, thats why the exhaustion.
i really should do my homework but i havent been doing anything since the start of the month so its kinda hard to start now. haha(:
been thinking about a lot of things, but i know that my Redeemer lives, so i will put my trust in Him and in no one else. ;D

its kinda mind-blowing, isnt it, for the Son of God to pour out His life into a feeble human body, starting out in a virgin's womb instead of just ascending from heaven in all His glory. instead of hanging out with the religious leaders of that time and all the "righteous" people, He spends His time with the "low lifes", the rejects, the sick and the sinners, healing and teaching them. on top of that, He wears a crown of thorns that represents death, is whipped 39 times with a whip that tears out His flesh that represents the 39 roots of sicknesses(its true there are 39 roots/causes fo sicknesses), is rejected and denied by the people closest to Him, dies on the cross (the highest punishment for the lowest of criminals of that time when He didnt do anything wrong) for our sins and rises again on the third day. it pretty much covers all we go through in our life, doesnt it? the crown of thorns so we can receive the crown of life, the 39 whips for our health, His rejection that we may be accepted and loved, His blood that washes away our sins so we can be pure again, and His resurections that we may rise with Him and become co-heirs with Him for the throne of God. imagin the love of God that He sacrificed Jesus, His only Son to suffer so much that we may have the solution to our problems. we wont be free of troubles, because life will definitely bring rainy days, but we are promised real life after this life is over, that we can spent eternity with our Lord and Saviour. how great and awesome is our God! and we can gain all this by just one simple prayer, by admitting that we need Him and apologize for our sins( the things we did wrong) and giving our lives to Him. amazing love...

thank You, God for Your amazing love that You could do so much for us. yet we reject Your Word time and time again, that we disobey You and Your commands, that we keep focusing on ourselves and not on You.
help us to live for You, and that our lives will be a testimony for Your saving Grace.
